It was one of those days were the weather was damp but warm and since Emma had nothing better to do she decided to roam around the city. She didn’t really have any intentions on going to the park but since she only had 10 dollars and didn't want to spend it, she didn't know where else to go. The park was quiet and all you could hear were the birds chirping and the running water from the pond but that was okay because that was how Emma liked it. She cut through the field instead of walking on the path , which she later regret since the field was wet and muddy and her worn out boots were looking even more worn out. Finally reaching near the pond she took a seat near the edge and let her feet dangle over the water.
